The digital nomad hub on Koh Phangan is certainly growing. It is awesome to ave those co working spaces to meet like minded nomads typing away on their businesses ad goals. Although, I love my co working aces I also love my coffee shops to work from when need a change in scenery.
Koh Phangan has new hot spots on the island that are opening up on the reg to help fit the needs of digital nomads. Places where you can enjoy delicious western food, endless coffee and good wifi. A place to go when you need a bit of home, where you want to overlook the sea or thousands of palm tree’s.
These are the hot spots on the island to check out if you are looking for the best of both worlds. Fast internet, a comfy area to work from and incredible food and drinks to enjoy.
Since this amazing little cafe was walking distance from my home, I spent lots of time here and for good reason. Only Tastey has one of the only places on the island that you can find tons of cheese and meats as well as coffee, tea and wine. I often times went here with my lap top or a book and ate cheese with wine while I planned out my next weeks plans.
If the world really was ending, then the World’s End Cafe wouldn’t be a bad place to spend those last few moments on Earth. Hundred Island is the perfect place to settle down with your lap top and enjoy a recharge of coffee while waiting for the delish western meal you just ordered to come your way.
Niera’s is one of my fav places to go for a bagel and cream cheese. This bakery is spacious and has lots of tables and couches to plug into. I often times spent my entire day here typing endlessly on blog posts. Their selection of home made foods and drinks makes this a stop you won’t want to miss on Koh Phangan.
Another spot on the island that literally everyone should go to if they need some western in their life. Owned by a California man who brought his cooking to Koh Phangan as well as the to die for coconut shake. A’sFamous is the perfect pace to lounge around all day working from your lap top and eating all the not so healthy but oh so yummy meals.
A smaller cafe then the rest but one that is great for working from your lap top in, Sweet N Salt got the name for exactly what they give sweat and also salty meals. They make all sorts of cakes and baked goods as well as hearty meals that will make your mouth water. I found myself drinking iced coffee, eating a coconut cream cake while working on my clients projects.
Bold is the perfect way to describe Karma Kafe. Bold colors and bold choices are present in the atmosphere here. this cafe is the perfect place to brighten your work day. I also always met someone new and cool hear to chat with about digital nomad experiences. I am a meat eater but Karma is plant-based, cruelty- and gluten-free cafe serving no meat, many might assume that this would alienate many visitors to the island. Regardless of your taste buds, the food and drinks here would spark anyones interest.
A tight squeeze that’s often full to the brim, you’d be lucky to find a free table come high season and glad you waited if you didn’t find one. With that being said if I did find a table I sat there all day. Fat Cat is the perfect place to people watch, enjoy my lap top and eat a delish meal while sipping on some of Thailands greatest coffee.
If brunch is the question, than Bubba’s is definitely the answer. Not only does it stock a tonne of fresh produce, it’s also got the best avocado toast for miles. This is literally the place my friends would go after a night out to reconvene about everything that happened.
Since becoming a digital nomad it is now the place I go to very often to work, they have indoor and outdoor seating which makes it easy for me to have a different vibe depending on the day. What I love about Bubba’s besides the food is ho great the people that gather are. You can always find a digital nomad to hang out with at this cafe.
Towards the end of my stay on Ko Phangan, I was coming here at least 3 times a week to work. Luna’s has lots of options for seating, couches, tables, indoor and outdoor seating as well as plethora’s of outlets. Luna’s is known for their French bread and sandwiches, along with their unforgettable coffee that is served. This is the perfect place to get your work done while enjoying the sunshine on KP.
This little cafe has some of the best iced coffee I have ever tasted. Newer then the rest and Thai owned, the family that runs this cafe are so sweet and love company. Another location with seating inside and out, they have amazing options for breakfast and lunch. Rong’s closes around 5 so this is always a place I went during the day to get as much work done as I could before heading out on the town.
There you have it folks. My favorite places to work from on the good old island of Koh Phangan. Find love in food, coffee and people while working the digital nomad lifestyle. Find more Koh Phangan options here
